About the role
JCS is seeking qualified Boilermakers, Welders, Pipe fitters.
At present, there are multiple roles required within our workforce. We have roles that are permanent or casual based.
These roles include fabrication within our workshop in Oak flats, major shutdown's, preventative maintenance, construction and project work, machine installation's.
We encourage trades with little to no experience in the construction or heavy industrial industry's to apply as we take a positive approach to training and mentoring.
Skills and experience
- Boilermaker, Welder, Pipe fitting certified
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Interpret drawings
- Quality focused
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible on working shutdowns and overtime
- Strong belief in WHS
The role:
- Routine maintenance repairs on all Heavy Industrial machinery
- Fabrication within our workshop and site fabrication
- Ability to consistently fabricate one off projects and Bespoke, custom made items.
- Interpret drawings
- Stainless steel fabrication preferred but not critical.
- Working on planned Shutdown's and Maintenance, flexibility of hours required to finish tasks during these windows.
- Be involved in new construction projects throughout the Illawarra, Sydney and south coast region - optional
- Installation and or Decommissioning of machinery - optional
