We are currently seeking a permanent nightshift Boilermaker to undertake required GMAW and SMAW maintenance as part of the Track Maintenance team on the Adelaide Metropolitan Rail Network (AMPRN).
You will:
- Work as part of the Track Maintenance team performing safety critical and routine maintenance work on the network
- Maintain records of works and report accordingly
- Undertake GMAW and SMAW welding on the AMPRN
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness
- Perform work either individually or as part of a team and may, from time to time be required to perform work at a lower level or other work appropriate to the classification
- Work alongside apprentice/s supporting with their training and development
- Be required to work shift work in accordance with a seven (7) day roster including day, night, and weekend work
About you:
- Must be able to obtain Category 1 Safety Critical Rail Worker health assessment
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
- Current Drivers Licence Class C
- Track Vehicle / Hi Rail Operator
- Certificate III in Transport & Logistics (Rail Infrastructure) desirable
- Cert II in Rail infrastructure desirable
- Class HR Licence desirable
- First aid certificate desirable
- Track Certifier desirable
- Experience in rail maintenance work
- Experience with safety critical repairs
- Experience with working with rail specific hand tool
