About the role
We are looking for an awesome Bookkeeper to join our team and for this role, we are flexible but looking for someone who can work at least 30 hours a week.
This role plays an important part in the day-to-day bookkeeping in a multitude of industries.

What you'll be doing
What can you expect in your day to day a bookkeeper? you will be involved in:
- End to end bookkeeping including bank reconciliations, allocation of transactions, reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Ability to analyse transactions and apply correct GST treatment.
- Payroll duties - Process of wages, super and manage Single Touch Payroll lodgments with ATO.
- Able to set up new client files, set up bank feeds, chart of accounts, single touch payroll.
- Preparation of quarterly and monthly Business Activity Statements BAS and Instalment Activity Statements IAS.
- Lodgments of Workcover declarations, payroll Tax, TPAR (Reportable Contractors) with ATO.
Qualifications & experience
We want to hear from people who:
- Have minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in the use of MYOB Practice Management, Account Right, Xero and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and good reconciliation skills.
- Able to interact with internal staff and external clients to resolve bookkeeping queries.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Motivated to take on challenges with minimal direction.
- Ability to work well under pressure in some situations in order to meet strict statutory and client-based deadlines.
