SalaryWe are seeking a part time Book Keeper to work with our team in offices conveniently located just off Eastlink in Seaford.
About us:
We are a well established Commercial Builder with a Modular Construction Arm. Our main office, which is located in Seaford, houses our rapidly growing project and admin teams and we pride ourselves and our brand on our knowledge, attention to detail, customer satisfaction and the importance of maintaining relationships with our clients and suppliers in the industry.
Duties include:
- Accounts Receivable / Payable
- Payroll and Superannuation
- Processing / reconciling of payments
- General ledger postings and statements
- Prepare Xero generated reports upon request
- Process and Payment of all End of Month Compliances
- Knowledge of Work cover and Payment
- Reporting to the Director - Entry of all EOY Journals
- Cash Flow and Financial Reporting
- Create Customer Invoices and follow up payments
Your attributes:
Key Criteria/Skills
- Experience with Xero essential
- Minimum 5 years Experience in similar role
- Down to Earth/Friendly attitude in a Relaxed Company Environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Quick learner and problem solving capability
- Good understanding of accounting principles, General Ledgers, Financials
- Efficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Accurate data entry skills & process high attention to detail.
- Great organisation skills.
- A professional attitude
- Ability to multi task.
- Motivated and willing to take on new challenges.
- Demonstrate the willingness to learn and develop.
- Able to follow procedures & systems.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Able to work unsupervised.

Hours of work
- Part time: 3 days a week (negotiable except Thursday) to suit the candidate where possible)
- Additional time required in August of 2024 to cover existing leave
