An opportunity now exists for a part-time/full-time bookkeeper to join our organization.
About the Role;
We are on the search for a bookkeeper to join our Administration/Finance Team at Latrobe Valley Village Inc.
The following are tasks that will need to be undertaken.
- Reconciling internal and external data
- Cash handling and bank reconciliations.
- Reconciliation and preparation of quarterly BAS
- Assist with financial procedures as required.
- Preparation, reconciliation and processing of fortnightly Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Updating Resident information as required.
- Processing of fortnightly payroll.
- Assisting with preparation for funding grants.
- Support other Administration staff, when required to meet department deadlines.
The successful Candidate will have the following skills and experience.
- Certificate 4 in accounting (equivalent work experience will be considered)
- Experience in book-keeping role.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite
- Current (within 3 years) Victorian Police Check
- Sign a Commonwealth of Australian Statutory Declaration - (Residency/Offences) upon commencement.
Days/Hours per week.
24 - 38 hours per week
Start and finish times negotiable.
Days negotiable for right applicant.
