Booking and Activation Officer
Permanent Full Time – 35 hours, 5 days per week
Salary: $68,933.68 - $75,318.53

We have an amazing opportunity for a team player to provide front line and administrative support to the Recreation and Community Outcomes team in the planning, Booking and Activation of Councils recreation, sporting, and community facilities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a pivotal position within the Recreation and Community Outcomes Business Unit. With the primary outcome of maximizing utilisation across a portfolio of sport, recreation and community venues, you will be responsible for handling incoming booking enquiries, managing existing clients accounts, supporting venue activation strategies and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
Reporting to the Coordinator, Recreation and Community, you will liaise closely with key external stakeholders that includes sporting organisations, community groups and organisations.
This role is a forward-facing position and requires high-levels of attention to detail and customer service capabilities.
ABOUT YOU
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:
- Current Class C Drivers licence
- Demonstrated experience in working with Community groups, Sporting Organisations, Schools, and other charitable and not-for-profit entities.
- Experience in the use of booking software systems
- Problem solving, time management, organisation, and decision-making skills highly desirable.
