Our Club
The brand is iconic, you’ve seen the triumphs and heard the about the wins of not one, not two, but four premierships. We’re on the up and we’re all here for the journey. From the moment you walk in the door you’ll be greeted with big smiles, good banter and a hint of competitiveness (we are a football club, it comes with the territory). Located in Lathlain, the facilities are exceptional (elite athlete level actually) including the onsite gym, café, lockers and changerooms, and open plan workspaces.
The Role
Reporting to the Club Operations Manager, this new full-time permanent role will be responsible for two main areas; Venue Bookings and Venue Operations. The key responsibilities are the scheduling and communication of all activities requested at Mineral Resources Park.
Here's what you're in for:
- Act as the liaison to schedule use of all West Coast Eagles facilities, especially the ovals and function spaces.
- Assist with the scheduling of facility items as a result of bookings.
- Assist with record keeping of event plans and compliance information, to assist with future planning, analysis and historical reference.
- Coordinate the facilities’ Loading Dock in terms of storage allocation to various users and act as a conduit between delivery persons.
- Coordinate the club Workplace Health, Safety & Risk meetings and play an integral part of the venue Emergency Management Team.
- On occasion, assist with physical tasks and event set-up.
- Order stationery items and club food/beverage consumables.
- Security and access control administration/monitoring including acting as an after-hours contact for security/safety issues.
- Management of MRP Operations e-mail mailbox.
We're a footy club, which means lots of outside 'normal' work hours including weekend games and other club events that are held at Mineral Resources Park, which will include working some mornings, evenings and weekends.
The Recruit
You will need to be an efficient worker with strong administration skills, who can roll up their sleeves when necessary.
We're also looking for:
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to understand and work through varied consequences and the impact of decisions on all parties (internal and external).
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Proven ability to learn new software packages at a quick pace.
