Permanent Part -TimeJoin an award-winning tourism and transport companyTraining and development opportunities providedSeaLink WA Marine & Tourism - part of the Kelsian Group, is searching for a driven and motivated Marine Operations Coordinator who is looking to step into an exciting, permanent career opportunity within our Operations team.About the RoleThe Operations Coordinator is a fast-paced position in a dynamic team that is an integral point for communication between our operations and vessels.This position will enable you to be part of an expanding business with innovative ideas and great company culture, career progression and flexibility.This is Part Time role working Thursday to Saturday - up to 10 hours per day, with additional hours during Summer peak season.Reporting to the Operations Manager, your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Fielding and resolving a broad range of day-to-day operational queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Actioning a daily list of checks prior to vessel departures.
- Vessel scheduling and coordinating changes to schedules
- Administrating roster additions and changes, ensuring amendments are recorded are clearly communicated to stakeholders
- Coordinate onboarding for crew, including maintaining crew data and training records.
- Provide shore-based support on day-to-day operational matters
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient in technology and general office equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Attention to detail.
- Possess a positive attitude, be dedicated, reliable, motivated, and proactive.
- Good physical fitness.
- Able to work flexible hours on a rotating roster, weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
- Rostering/scheduling experience essential
- Deputy or similar rostering system experience preferred
- Administrative experience essential
- Marine experience preferred but not essential
