The Visitor Engagement section delivers quality tour interpretation and support services to diverse audiences including parliamentarians, building occupants and visitors. The team also supports civics and citizenship education (to compliment the work of the Parliamentary Education Office) by delivering building tours for school students.
The Bookings Officer role supports Visitor Engagement Management in the effective collection of data, tour bookings and administrative support in the areas of pass printing and inbox management.
The successful candidate will have proven capabilities in administration including data management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective and respectful collaboration is critical to the success of the position to support our large, customer focused team.
The Bookings Officer will have experience in data entry, tour bookings and proficient computer skills. As a member of the Visitor Engagement leadership team the Bookings Officer will:
- Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Visitor Engagement team through the provision of high-quality customer service
- Carry out the effective administration of tour bookings and related data
- Ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders, including tour operators, event organisers, and building occupants
- Support a high-performance culture, and
- Support the team.
