Job description

Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking two Bookings & Enquiries Officers to service visitor enquiries and bookings via telephone, e-mail and online communication channels.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position is accountable for the provision of high-quality customer service by providing information and efficient services to customers who contact Museums Victoria via telephone, e-mail, online (eg: Chat).
The successful applicant will have:
Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure, high-volume customer service environments.
Demonstrated customer focus, including effective teamwork and internal communications.
Demonstrated high level communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability for problem solving and conflict resolution
Demonstrated experience in providing quality service in a contact centre or equivalent telephone and/or online based environment
Experience and ability to competently use cloud-based phone system and other computer systems e.g., bookings systems, Dynamics CRM, e-mail, Microsoft 365 applications (Strong excel skills required), web based payment applications.
Ability to source and comprehend high volumes of information and provide accurate and relevant information back to customers
The successful applicant is required to undergo a Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
OTHER INFORMATION:
These are both Part-time (0.6FTE), Ongoing positions. The salary on offer is $56,834 pro-rata, per annum (Base of Grade) + 11% superannuation.
This position is required to work according to a roster which regularly requires them to work on a Saturday or Sunday or Public Holiday or outside the Span of Hours.
