The Role:

As our Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organisation. Your responsibilities will include completing payroll tasks for approximately 70 staff members under the SCHADS award, assisting with MYOB card file maintenance, processing weekly and fortnightly invoices for services provided to our valued participants, reconciling MYOB bank feeds, and generating essential financial reports.

Skills and Experience:

While certifications and previous experience are valued, we prioritise candidates with a passion for numbers and meticulous attention to detail. We provide comprehensive training and support for individuals who are the right fit for our team. Experience and understanding of the NDIS would be highly regarded.

Your Responsibilities:

Complete payroll tasks for approximately 70 staff members under the SCHADS award.

Assist with MYOB card file maintenance and data entry.

Process weekly and fortnightly invoices for services provided to participants.

Reconcile MYOB bank feeds and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.

Generate financial reports to support decision-making processes.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in financial practices.

Successful applicants will be:

🔄 Experienced in bookkeeping or related accounting roles.

🗨️ Excellent communicators with the ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders.

🧠 Proficient in using accounting software, preferably MYOB.

To be considered for the role, you will need to hold (or be willing to obtain):

Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping.

Experience with MYOB software or similar accounting tools.

Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

NDIS Worker Screening clearance.

Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19, including booster (3 doses).

Working with Children's Check NSW & Vic.
