About Us: We are an established stone manufacturing company conveniently located in Marrickville, Sydney. Our company specializes in providing stone works to high-end residential and commercial spaces nationwide. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a capable Bookkeeper to support our financial operations.
You’ll be responsible for:
• end to end ownership of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) including entering invoices promptly & weekly payment runs;
• perform monthly reconciliations on time and be responsible for the integrity of the data;
• reconciliation of intra-group loans, where journals and transactions are recorded;
• responsible for Australian Taxation Office (ATO) filings with respect to the monthly and quarterly (as applicable) Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) where Pay As You Go Withholding is applicable;
• payroll compliance (including ensuring all superannuation commitments are met by the Group);
• balance and maintain accurate ledgers, including bank reconciliations for entities within the Group;
• maintain records of financial transactions for entities within the Group;
• assist external accountants with end of financial year tax preparations and adhoc queries;
• supporting key internal stakeholders by providing accurate and timely accounting advice;
• ensure the business is compliant with all regulatory and statutory requirements (including but not limited to the ATO and ASIC); and
• reviewing policies and procedures to maintain robust practices.
