Your new role
  
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts receivable and payable, processing payroll, and preparing detailed financial reports. You will handle reconciliations, BAS, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, and project financials with precision and adherence to compliance standards. Additionally, you will assist with basic administrative tasks and occasionally support the front desk by answering calls and greeting guests. Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is essential for this role. The position offers flexibility, allowing you to work either four or five days a week, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, providing an excellent opportunity to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments.
  
  
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Proficiency in MYOB accounting software
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable/payable
  • Experience with payroll processing and financial reporting
  • Ability to perform reconciliations, BAS, GST, PAYG, and payroll tax
  • Familiarity with project financial management
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle basic administrative tasks
  • Good communication skills for front desk duties
  • Flexibility to work 4 or 5 days a week, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
