Towri MACS is a not-for-profit Multifunctional Aboriginal Children Service providing Education and care for Children aged 0 - 6 years, located in Bathurst, NSW. The service is governed by Towri Aboriginal Corporation, who has been operating in the Bathurst community for 30 years.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience in MYOB
- Have a valid Working with Children Check
- Exceptional time management and organisational skill
- Completion of relevant qualifications in Bookkeeping/Accounting/Finance or equivalent knowledge of financial management practices and reporting obligations
- Good organisational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist Director to complete grant's
- Complete acquittals as required
- Complete payroll weekly through MYOB
- Adherence to all financial deadlines involving ATO, PAYG and Super
- Preparing statutory returns including Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (including family accounts and payments)
- Assist Centre Director with preparation of yearly budgets
