Officering 52 independent living units, as well as a 101-bed residential care facility, they are committed to providing high quality aged care accommodation services for the community, through an enriched and stimulating environment.
About the role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced & enthusiastic bookkeeper, preferably with a background in the Aged Care Sector. The ideal candidate can work both in a team and independently and is a problem-solver and proactive thinker. This role is a temporary full-time opportunity for the next 3 months, with a permanent full-time opportunity available following this period for the right candidate. A generous hourly rate is on offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconciliation and preparation of quarterly BAS (essential)
- Experienced with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (essential)
- Data and record management
- Cash handling and bank reconciliations
- Administration duties
- Filing and document management
- Assisting the administration & reception team where required
- Any other duties as directed by the Finance & Administration Manager
- Minimum Certificate III or IV Bookkeeping/Accounting or equivalent
- Strong knowledge and experience in a book-keeping role
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Current Police Check
- COVID Vaccination mandatory (double dose + booster shot)
