We are a very busy Melbourne based bookkeeping firm specialising in MYOB and Xero. We require an enthusiastic and organised person to join our team. The successful applicant must be passionate about accounting, a fast learner, with a growth mindset, highly motivated and willing to learn.
This is a working from home role, but maybe initially onsite in Kew.
This role includes:
MYOB & Xero - payroll processing and bookkeeping, specifically accounts payable.
ATO - lodgements of BAS, IAS and liaison with ATO when required.
LEAP - trust account reconciliations and end of month trust reports.
Administration - answering phones, organising tasks and ensuring deadlines are met. Checking emails and assigning tasks to the team.
Client interaction - applicants must have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
The successful applicant must be tech savvy and must work well under pressure. We are looking for someone with initiative and has the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! Prior experience essential.
