We have an exciting opportunity with our small friendly team at HQ in Unanderra for a qualified bookkeeper with strong administration capabilities to contribute to our continued growth.
The successful candidate will have proven bookkeeping experience, a willingness to jump in to get things done, the ability to modernise and make improvements as we build our systems and processes.
Bookkeeper duties and responsibilities
General bookkeeping responsibilities using Xero accounting software and Unleashed stock control software including:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliation
- Debtor control
- Invoicing
- Payroll
- BAS returns
- Monthly P&L reporting
- Liaise with Company Tax accountant and CFO
Operations Administration
- Design, communicate and oversee implementation of office and accounts operations, policies and procedures
- File updates, and ongoing accurate record keeping promoting a paperless environment
- Ensure the smooth running of the office by addressing IT and other issues promptly
Qualifications
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Bookkeeping
- Formal Xero training
- Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience
- Office admin experience
The successful candidate will show a high level of can do attitude, competence in running a modern office environment and communication skills. Formal training is available where required.
