Highly organised & detail oriented Bookkeeper
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our growing team for one day a week. This position can be combined with our administrative assistant role if desired. Please refer to the other advertisement.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable/payable end to end
- Debt collection
- Reconciliation and balancing to statements
- Preparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets
- End to end payroll processing, admin (add and terminate staff), management and reconciliations including superannuation, payroll tax and WorkCover
- Preparation of BAS/IAS statements for review and lodgement
- Payroll processing
- BAS and end of year payroll preparation
- Invoicing – Supplier and Debtor
- Bank and Account reconciliations
- Superannuation reporting and obligations
- Generate weekly and month end reports
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with accounting software a plus
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
