Temper Group are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team based at our head office in Albion Park Rail.
This role will see you challenged while you develop and grow your existing finance skills, with room for Career Advancement through the business.
Reporting to the Accountant & Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the data integrity associated with relevant accounting standards as well as adhering to internal policies and procedures.
The role will be assisting the Group Accountant and Procurement Manager.
Role:
- Processing/matching supplier payments and invoices.
- Allocate customer payments daily.
- Reconcile monthly statements.
- Chase invoices from suppliers or internal team.
- Assist payroll by collecting weekly timesheets/rosters.
- Understand the Australian taxation system and accounting standards.
- Outstanding Debt collection.
- Sending customer statements.
- Daily reconciliation reports.
- Liaise with other teams or service providers regarding any transactional discrepancies.
- Timely and accurate preparation of reports for daily and month-end accounting processes.
- Filing Adhoc as required.
- Updating product costing and information.
Experience:
- Min 2 Year Xero Experience
- Inventory: Shopify, Cin7, Lightspeed
- Excel
- Microsoft office
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated and energetic approach with the desire to drive continuous improvements
- Multi currency knowledge
