A position within a bookkeeping agency with the scope for additional work. Highly supported role with flexible hours. Must have experience with working with Medical Practice, knowledge and experience working with best practice software will be an advantage
Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Process daily bookkeeping work, including data entry, monthly reporting, invoicing, preparation of monthly financials, BAS preparation and lodgment, subcontractor statements
- You will need to be proficient in XERO and EXCEL and all Microsoft based packages
- Payroll, data entry and processing
- Long service leave, superannuation, RDOs and workers' compensation, calculation of terminations and redundancies
- Perform reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable
- Create processes to improve efficiency for the business
- Superannuation and ATO compliance
- Have strong Finance/Bookkeeping experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
Skills and experience
The Successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills:
- Minimum 2 + years of bookkeeping experience
- High level of skill in budgeting and cash flows etc. using EXCEL
- Skilled in MYOB and XERO
- Ability to multi-task
- Good interpersonal skills, both oral and written
- Be self motivated and reliable
- Attention to detail
- Exercise initiative and sound judgement
