We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to work at Prahran PPCC.
Sandringham Ambulatory Care Centre (SACC) runs the Urgent Care Clinics at Sandringham Hospital, Prahran and Frankston; health pathways and a private medical practice. We are embedded in the Bayside community and have a team of passionate clinical and non-clinical staff.
Designed to take pressure of the Emergency Department, our Prahran clinic and sees a high volume of walk-in patients, so our Medical Receptionists play a vitally important role in the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for patients and families
- Patient bookings over the phone
- Patient registration
- Send discharge summaries
- Compliance with inclusion and exclusion criteria
Requirements and Attributes
- Experience working Medical Reception, preferably General Practice
- Strong focus on administration and concierge
- Experience with Best Practice software advantageous
- Patient-focused and adaptable
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Permanent Australian residents or hold a current, valid working visa
- Current National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
