AddressAre you a talented Bookkeeper/Accountant with a passion for precision and a love for Yarra Valley wines? We're seeking an organised, reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team at Yarrawood Estate.
This opportunity is perfect for an independent Bookkeeper/Accountant with their own ABN, however, employment terms are open to negotiation. The position requires a commitment of 2-3 days per week, including the requirement for Monday's & preferably Wednesday's.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing Café & Cellar Door sales and accounts receivable
- Managing accounts payable
- Reconciling bank statements and petty cash
- Processing payroll and maintaining employee records
- Managing stock control procedures
- Performing month-end general ledger reconciliations, preparing journals and financial reports
- Tax filings and compliance
- Administrative support as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant in a similar role
- Proficiency in MYOB
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience in the wine industry including wine equalisation tax is preferred
