The Ambassador Hotel is currently seeking an experienced Bottle Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Bottle Shop located in Redcliffe.
Apart of the Fortitudo Group, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for an independently owned hospitality group that values and supports its employees.
About the role
This is a full-time permanent role that reports directly to the Venue Manager, the successful applicant will possess strong management skills with previous experience in managing a retail store. A commitment to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences is essential.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day store operations to the highest of standards.
- Development and mentoring of employees, along with promoting a positive and professional team culture.
- Monitoring staff presentation and grooming standards.
- Monitoring and driving sales performance working towards store KPIs.
- Maintaining stock control and stock ordering.
- Preparing displays and presenting stock.
- Maintaining the store with a high standard of cleanliness.
- Rostering and wage cost management.
Essential Attributes:
- Proven working experience in a similar role.
- Sound understanding of sales performance in the liquor industry with strong product knowledge.
- Ability to drive the team to success with a hands-on approach.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Vibrant personality with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and lead by example.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
