We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Operator/CNC Machine Operator to join the team in our fabrication workshop at Crestmead. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make the next step in their career and work for a family owned and run company.

About the job:
- Set and operate the BRAKE PRESS machine to press large semi-trailer components.
- Work with medium to heavy gauge steel.
- Inspect metal whilst shaping it and make adjustment as needed.
- Responsible for the efficient flow of work to meet company production objectives.
- Regular maintenance in line with machine maintenance schedule.
- 1.9 hours of overtime daily, optional 4 hour Saturdays always available.
About the person
- Previous experience with CNC press brake machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Attention to detail.
- Fine eye for machining tolerances.
- Dedication to producing quality workmanship.
- Ability to work well in a team or alone.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Having previous experience with heavy fabrication would be an advantage.
- Having a transport manufacturing background would be an advantage.
