Primary purpose of role
The primary role of the Press Brake Operator is to Pressing / Folding sheet metal parts for camper trailer and PCOR products. Selecting appropriate press tooling  with quality Assurance of finished parts, dimensions and tolerances.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Press Brake Operator include, but are not limited to;
Operating and setup of Press Brakes (Trumpf 7036, Trumpf 5130 and Salvagnini P4 pannel bender )

This is a full time position working 9 days per fortnight (average 38 hrs per week).

Hours of operation are :

Week 1 - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) and 7.00am -3.30pm (Friday) 

Week 2 - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) and RDO (Friday)

Quality
Maintain the quality requirements in the processes and finished work outcomes.
Fill in all required QC/QA forms, e.g., NCR.
Participate in writing work procedures and work instructions.
Report any quality-related issues and concerns to the QA/QC Officers.
Participate in investigating quality issues and causes.
Ensure the QC/QA tasks are implemented when/where needed as per the work requirements. 
Play an effective role in continuous improvement by making suggestions to improve work methods, processes and quality-related areas.

Qualifications and experience

Required
An ability to read and understand technical drawings
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with Sheet Metal Folding and Pressing is essential

Preferred
Experience with Press Brakes, more specifically with Trumpf 7036 & Trumpf 5130 Salvagnini
