A rare opportunity has become available for a Branch Manager at our Albury-Wodonga dealership.
Tasked with achieving profitability and growing this regional business, the Branch Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations as well as manage a growing team of Service, Parts and Truck Sales staff. You will be required to use your highly developed inter-personal skills to effectively manage key relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturers and importantly staff to maximise the potential of all components of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Set sales targets and implement sales strategies for the dealership
- Lead, motivate and support dealership staff to achieve defined business objectives
- Engage in business community activities with the aim of building local relationships and growing business activity within the area
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise representatives
- Take ultimate responsibility for the handling of customer concerns ensuring prompt and effective resolution and customer satisfaction
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures
- Oversee inventory levels and coordinate promotional events and campaigns
- Ensure regular feedback of staff performance, support training and development needs and drive succession plans
What we are looking for
- An experienced and professional business manager with a track record of successfully managing operations and a sound understanding of the heavy trucking industry
- Previous experience in a senior management role an advantage
- A driven leader with a strong commitment to building a positive team culture & engagement
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of professionalism and business acumen
- Ability to build and foster sound relationships
