The Opportunity
The Brand Manager – Osteoporosis will work closely with the Marketing Manager – Specialty Brands and Biologics and more broadly with the Arrotex Pharmaceutical Marketing Senior management team to lead and continually evolve the Arrotex Specialty and Biologics medicines strategy to deliver to Arrotex’s commercial objectives. This individual will work closely with the Marketing Manager – Specialty Brands and Biologics and more broadly with the Arrotex Pharmaceutical Marketing Senior management team to lead and continually evolve the Arrotex Specialty and Biologics medicines strategy to deliver to Arrotex’s commercial objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the development of the strategic direction and growth of the Specialty and Biologics brands in the portfolio and define each of the brands’ equity and clear positioning in the market.
- Lead and define the Prescriber Channel (primary, secondary and specialty) and Retail Pharmacy Channel marketing mix and go-to-market strategies for existing and new portfolios.
- Support in the identification of growth opportunities within existing and new biologics and specialty prescription medicines franchises.
- Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and key stakeholder engagement to unearth insights to guide and shape the evolution of the portfolio strategy to drive increased utilisation of the Arrotex portfolio.
- Take a lead role and/or contribute to the development of overall business Marketing objectives, strategies, and programs.
- Second level responsibility for the overall brand management, financial and market performance of the portfolio, including P&L delivery, monthly forecasts, and marketing budgets.
- Manage, plan, commercialise, track, review and optimise the Arrotex Specialty Brands and Biologics portfolio.
- Co-create the annual specialty brands and biologics brand plan with S.M.A.R.T methodology and a clear execution strategy and tactical plan.
- Track brand plan(s) and continually recommend course correct strategies to ensure delivery of financial targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Key Requirements
- Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, specifically pharmaceutical products to Retail Pharmacy and/or prescribers at a primary, secondary or specialist level. [HH1]
- Knowledge of Medicines Australia (MA) Code of Conduct,[HH2] Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (GBMA) Code and TGA Code (no.2) 2018.
- High level of emotional and people intelligence skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships and communicate with employees at all levels from varying backgrounds.
- Strong Commercial acumen and ability to own the numbers - manage budgets and P&L responsibilities.
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to express opinions, convey information and key points clearly and concisely, and effectively work with others to resolve interpersonal conflicts in a positive way.
- Well-developed and proven organisational skills with an ability to balance and prioritise a variety of tasks and competing demands in order to manage workflow.
- Effective time management skills to determine the appropriate allocation of time to tasks and duties, ensuring timely completion, meeting critical timeframes, and efficient use of time.
- Strong problem-solving, trouble-shooting and analytical skills, with the ability to create innovative workable solutions and proactively anticipate needs, foresee challenges and problems, and take action to prevent them.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce well-thought-out and professional written correspondence.
