What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Brand Specialist – Passenger Vehicle Communications to join our National Marketing Division in a permanent full-time capacity.
The National Marketing Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all national marketing, brand, internal & external communications, digital, public relations and customer relationship management in order to position Toyota as the customers’ brand of choice throughout and beyond the entire product lifecycle and contribute to achievement of sales volume, market share and profitability objectives.
The Brand Specialist – Passenger Vehicle Communications is primarily responsible for supporting the execution of passenger & soft SUV vehicle marketing strategies through communication campaigns and model marketing initiatives to grow passenger & soft SUV vehicle desirability and contribute to the achievement of sales volume, market share and profitability objectives for passenger & soft SUV vehicles in Australia.
This role is based in Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you’ll make an impact
Implement agreed passenger & soft SUV vehicle communication processes and procedures consistent with set policies to achieve Toyota sales and customer attraction objectives.
Assist in the development of product communication processes and procedures to enhance Toyota passenger & soft SUV vehicle sales and product desirability.
Support the production and implementation of advertising campaigns, assets and tactical activity plans by assisting with agency briefs, production timelines, logistics plans and elevation of critical issues.
Act as a key contact between national divisions, Regions and the Dealer network in relation to passenger & soft SUV vehicle communication activities. Resolve any queries and issues and escalate matters to minimise risk.
Monitor advertising campaign timelines and performance against targets and recommend countermeasures where required.
Maintain reporting systems and prepare reports to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
Provide support for the assessment and selection of agencies and other suppliers to secure delivery of services at expected quality and at optimal cost. Support ongoing supplier management.

Degree qualification in business, commerce, marketing, a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience in marketing, communications, or advertising.
Understanding of automotive products and Australian automotive market.
Understanding of motorsport desirable.
