Join our kitchen team at GROWN, an energetic breakfast/brunch café nestled in the heart of West End. Our commitment lies in crafting house-made, distinctive dishes with a touch of Australian Native influence, emphasising locally sourced produce. With our recent expansion into dinner services, GROWN has experienced a substantial increase in turnover, prompting the need for experienced chefs to join our kitchen brigade for breakfast service.

About Us: GROWN is situated in the vibrant West End, accommodating approximately 45 patrons. Our café enjoys close proximity to the West End farmers markets and the Brisbane River, creating a unique atmosphere. Operating seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, we offer a dynamic work environment for those seeking a role with independence and influence. 

The Team: As a member of our team, you will report to a head chef who values empowerment and support. With a solid background in hospitality, our team cultivates an easy-going yet professional atmosphere. We are passionate about establishing ourselves as the premier café venue in the area.

The Role: We are seeking an exceptional chef who is:

• A team player and effective communicator; our café features an open kitchen, necessitating mutual support and the ability to work independently when needed.
• Experienced in breakfast service (minimum 2 years) within highly regarded cafes. We only seek the best talent.
• Hands-on and versatile, approaching responsibilities with enthusiasm.
• Calm and organized in a busy environment.

Salary/hourly rates will be based on experience.
