Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, creative & passionate Breakfast Chef to join our team at Next Door Espresso. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious breakfast dishes and a knack for maintaining a well-organized kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting breakfast items to the highest standards, ensuring efficiency and organization in the kitchen, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and Cook Breakfast Items:
- Create a variety of breakfast dishes, including traditional and innovative options.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
Kitchen Organization:
- Maintain a well-organized and clean kitchen environment.
- Ensure all ingredients and supplies are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.
- Implement and oversee efficient kitchen workflows and station setups.
- Keep track of inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Menu Development:
- Collaborate with chef team & management to develop and refine breakfast menus.
- Introduce new and seasonal breakfast items that cater to demographic
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on best practices and organizational techniques.
Customer Service:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality meals promptly.
- Handle special dietary requests and allergies with care and attention.
