Sippy Tom in Teneriffe is looking for a Head Chef to join our wonderful team
We are a busy and fun community cafe with a rotating seasonal menu operating 7 days a week in the Winchcombe Carson Woolstores, Teneriffe, Brisbane
4 day roster, no nights, no split shifts
- Develop and design contemporary brunch menus
- Train and oversee kitchen staff to ensure consistent, high-quality output
- Foster a positive team culture
- Manage food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, and sanitation
- Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas
- Monitor and complete assigned schedules
- Oversee inventory, budgeting, wage costing, and roster scheduling
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Experience with budgeting for food costs and wage expenses
- Strong work ethic and high motivation
- Passion for and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills
