SalaryMEZE Restaurant is situated in Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley, a successful 4.5 star hotel comprising 200 guest rooms, restaurant/bar & conference facilities, situated in a bustling business district and at the gateway of the Dandenong Ranges.

What you'll be doing:
- Work in a dynamic team whilst developing a solid knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Provide breakfast services above and beyond following brand standards for customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
- Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.
- Assist and liaise with chef on duty as required.
Your experience and skills include:
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for Food and Beverage, and drive to succeed in a hospitality career
- Customer service driven and have the capacity to multi task
- Cope well under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Have the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
