Welcome to our slice of Japan in the heart of Miami, Gold Coast! We are a new and unique Japanese craft brewery and restaurant. Our brewery is a labour of love, with a team dedicated to brewing exceptional beers that push the boundaries of flavour and innovation. One of the highlights of our new brewery is our renowned head brewer, Satoshi Tamura, former brewer of Black Hops Brewery. With years of experience and a passion for creativity, Satoshi brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to our brewery, crafting a variety of specialty brews that are sure to delight beer connoisseurs. Qualifications & experience
- RSA: Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices, including checking IDs, recognizing signs of intoxication, and knowing when to refuse service.
- Age Requirement: Must be of legal drinking age
- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a bar and/or restaurant setting is essential. Experience making cocktails ideal but not essential
- Beer Knowledge: A basic understanding of different beer styles, and brewing techniques is ideal - but not essential
- customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, are essential.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well as part of a team
- Physical Stamina: The job can be physically demanding, requiring long periods of standing and the ability to lift heavy kegs or cases of beer
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are often busy times for bars and breweries
Tasks & responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, including taking orders, serving drinks, and answering questions about the beer and food menu.
- Beer Knowledge: Have a good understanding of the brewery's beer offerings, including the ingredients, brewing process, and flavour profiles, to assist customers in making informed choices.
- Food Service: Serve food items, ensuring accuracy in orders and upselling menu items
- Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the bar area clean and organized, including regular cleaning of taps, bar surfaces, and glassware.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including restocking beer and food items, and keeping track of supplies to ensure availability.
- teamwork: Work closely with other Bar Staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding alcohol service, including checking IDs and ensuring responsible service of alcohol.
- Upselling and Promotion: Recommend additional beer or food items to customers, and promote special events or promotions happening at the brewery.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about new beer offerings, brewing techniques, and industry trends to provide the best possible service and information to customers.
