About the team:
Thesepositionssit within our SEQ Structures teams based in Brisbane at depots in Sunshine and Redbank. They are part of our SEQ Assets business responsible for managing the maintenance and reliability of our rail network, ensuring it is safe and reliable for the people of Queensland.
About the role:
As a Bridgeworker you will carrying out maintenance task including scheduled maintenance on our structures such as the repair of steel, timber and concrete bridges including drainage work in minimum supervision. You are responsible for ensuring safe working practices are adhered to and quality work standards are achieved.
This position is always in the field therefore you must be happy to work in a variety of weather conditions.
There will be some weekends the applicant needs to be available to camp away assisting other depots. Queensland Rail will pay your accommodations including expenses. We promote development in our team, and you will have the opportunity to gain a HR licence, Chainsaw Ticket, High Risk Work Licence (LF, EWP, DG) and Working Safely at Heights ticket. You need to be comfortable working from heights on a regular basis.

About you:
Hold a current C class driver licence.
Labouring
Demonstrate commitment to safety.
Team player who can be relied upon to work autonomously.
Must have the flexibility to work some overtime when required and weekends as part of the roster.
