Base of $62,812 plus penalty rates and a generous superannuation scheme The team work Monday to Friday generally between the hours of 0600 to 1600 with every second Friday off (3 day weekend) Penalty rates for weekends, overtime or while working away  Paid training with access to internal vacancies Strong focus on safety – we ‘work safe’ every day to ensure everyone goes ‘home safe’ Work with an experienced, supportive and engaged team Uniform, tools to perform your duties and training supplied by Queensland rail  About our Team: This position sits within our Charleville Structures Teams where you will report directly to the Structures Maintenance Supervisor and will work with a supportive, engaged and tightknit team of up to four Bridgeworkers.  About the role:  As a Bridgeworker you will play a vital role in carrying out maintenance tasks on our structures such as the repair of steel bridges including drainage work. You are responsible for ensuring safe working practices are adhered to and quality work standards are achieved.  This position is always in the field therefore you must be happy to work in a variety of weather conditions. There is also regular travelling and working away covering 500km of track from Miles – Quilpie.
