Your Role
As the Senior Business Analyst, Property Systems you will be entrusted with leading the analysis and design of complex business systems and processes. Leveraging your expertise, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments to identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements and recommend innovative solutions.
Your ability to utilise use case analysis and effectively define and document business requirements, will be essential in driving the success of projects. Furthermore, your demonstrated expertise in business process modeling, IT project management and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications will play a crucial role in ensuring the alignment of solutions with organisational objectives.
Additionally, your strong skills in eliciting and documenting user requirements, analysing requirements, testing, and suggesting process improvements will be vital in driving continuous enhancement and innovation.
About You
You will have a post-secondary degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Business, IT, or related field. With a minimum 3+ years' experience in systems analysis, preferably with JD Edwards or Hospitality systems, you will possess strong knowledge of technical business process analysis, system development life cycle process, and proficiency in workflow, process design, reporting, and data analysis.
Familiarity with hospitality systems like Oracle Simphony and Kiosk systems will be highly regarded, along with experience in supporting Property Management Systems and ERP applications such as, Oracle JD Edwards.

Responsibilities:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Provide input to design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
- Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
- Follow required internal processes for purchasing
- Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.
- Provide input to system design proposals.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
- Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.
- Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
- Provide guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.
- Assist as a member of the On Call team on a rostered basis.
- Work with Vendors on the maintenance, support and enhancement of new and existing systems
- Be able to travel interstate regularly
- To ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards and legislation are strictly met, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors and visitors, and promptly reporting any issues, potential issues or near miss events.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Ability to understand and apply financial terminology and systems
- Proven experience in support and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
- Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
- Support exposure with core software applications, including PMS, electronic key entry, point of sale products Productsas
