About the roleReporting to the Production Engineering Superintendent, you will be responsible for analysing data, developing solutions to problems, and managing improvement projects to support the growth of
Broadmeadow Mine. She/he uses engineering judgment to draw conclusions and provide technical expertise to the production and mine planning teams.
Core Accountabilities- Work directly with production execution superintendents to oversee performance and manage the pipeline of improvement initiatives for production departments.
- Liaise with frontline teams to ensure that new ideas are developed and practically implemented.
- Analyse performance data and provide performance reporting for production teams.
- Use data analysis to provide time usage assumptions into short range forecast and 2 year budget processes.
- Identify opportunities to update or develop standardised work procedures for core processes within production departments.
- Support production superintendents to manage department budget compliance and forecasting.
About YouAbout You:- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Engineering or an aligned discipline advantageous
- Exposure with underground mining is preferable
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement projects with sound financial and commercial acumen
- The ability to analyse data and provide insights and solutions to impacts on performance
- Familiarity with production delay accounting systems such as Corvus or Ampla advantageous
- Strong understanding of the BHP Operating System (BOS) highly regarded
