Btp - Hydraulic Mechanical Fitters - Hazelmere

BTP forms part of the Perenti Group and is one of Australia’s largest suppliers of machinery rental, parts and services to the mining, construction and earth-moving industries.  Our capabilities include machine rebuilds, Service Exchange components, Site based and Field Service labour and machinery rental.  BTP has supported the mining, earth-moving, and construction industries for over 30 years and with locations in key mining areas BTP is currently expanding its capabilities and capacity to better support our customers and its people. 

BTP has exciting opportunities for experienced, detail-oriented, and trade-qualified Hydraulic Mechanical Fitters to carry out stripping, assessing, rebuilding, and final testing of hydraulic cylinders in our spacious and safety-focussed Hazelmere workshop. 

Key Requirements 

• Australian recognized Automotive or Engineering trade qualification 
• Demonstrated experience with Caterpillar and Komatsu component repairs mainly hydraulic cylinders. 
• All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates, and licenses (RPLs) 
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Driver’s Licence)

• You’re at the top of your game and like to be challenged.
• Competent computer skills with experience using Caterpillar SIS preferred.
• Passionate about quality of work ensuring functionality and reliability exceeds customer expectations.
• Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace.
