The Estimator's tasks and responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes with quantities and costings for our clients,
- Attend Site inspections and create scope of works for clients. Scope of works will range from small maintenance repairs to complete Commercial Fitouts.
- Negotiating and confirming prices and rates with sub-contractors and suppliers. Attending site with Contractors to explain works required
- Interpret working drawings and plans to calculate appropriate materials quantities.
- Liaise with Project Managers to effectively explain works and maintain effective rapport with staff in the duration of the works
- Conduct audits on completed work
- Project management overflow to assist in busy times
- Adhere to OH&S practices & procedures
- Developing and teaching our staff to their fullest potential
- Working in a diverse community to produce optimal job satisfaction
About You…..
- Minimum 15 years experience in Construction, Management & Estimation
- Previous Trade Certifications would be an advantage
- Current Drivers licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- Covid 19 & Flu Vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
