We're seeking a talented Building Maintenance Tradesperson to carry out all round maintenance including refurbs, repairs to buildings, patching and painting, as well as ad-hoc general maintenance to existing structures. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret plans and drawings to work out materials and potential maintenance works if required.
- Install building items to existing infrastructure, such as but not limited to, locks, doors, windows, etc.
- Carry out varies types of repair work using both hand and power tools.
- Where required, erect framework and fit door and window frames.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks, such as but not limited to, patch and painting damaged internal and external walling, remove and replace tiles, benches, and carry out varies types of paving repairs.
- Maintain worksites with best practices in housekeeping.
- Follow the direction of Leading Hand(s), Site Supervisor(s), Senior Site Supervisor(s), and carry out delegated tasks.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Working at Heights
- White Card
- National Police Clearance
- Minimum C class drivers’ licence with reliable transport.
Essential Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience working as a qualified carpenter.
- Previous experience in the construction industry.
