As our Company continues to grow, we seek a proactive and experienced Building Manager with experience in energy efficiency solutions to join our dynamic team. There is a major focus on implementing capital improvements across all buildings and achieving a 5-star NABERS and BEEC energy rating through the implementation of efficiency-enhancing policies and procedures. With a diverse portfolio featuring various building styles, including those exceeding 90 lots and incorporating retail and food courts, this role presents opportunities to refine your skills and expand your expertise
In this dynamic role, your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Provide recommendations to the strata committees on implementing renewable solutions that can help to improve green ratings such as BASIX and NABERS and help our clients boost property value and meet sustainability targets.
- Engaging in committee meetings to offer your distinctive perspectives and contribute to the property's future direction
- Offering valuable suggestions to committees for enhancing property management practices and refining procedures, playing a pivotal role in driving progress and innovation.
- Maintaining optimum efficiency of all building systems and optimise asset performance.
- Overseeing day-to-day building maintenance operations and addressing ad-hoc tasks to uphold the company's interests.
- Managing upkeep, projects, and maintenance for residential strata facilities.
- Coordinating and supervising all designated service providers to ensure tasks are executed to the highest quality
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in facilities or asset management operations, industry best practice, building codes, and legislative requirements relating to facilities management.
- Knowledge and experience with Building Energy Efficiency Certificate (BEEC) or National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) ratings for both apartment and commercial buildings.
- Knowledge in HVAC and facilities management for both apartment and commercial buildings.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient problem-solving skills to address challenges efficiently.
- Outstanding problem-solving prowess and adeptness at thriving in high-pressure environments.
