Your new company
A government department is seeking an experienced Maintenance / Building Services Officer to work across various hospital locations in the Wheatbelt - Northam, Narrogin and Moora. You will be engaged on an ongoing temporary contract, starting as soon as possible. This opportunity can be offered on a 8:6 DIDO arrangement, with accomodation provided. Alternatively, if you live locally, you can work on a Monday - Friday rosterYour new role
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance
- Carry out modifications and alterations, including basic concreting, welding and minor carpentry
- Carry out water testing and dosing
- Maintaining plant rooms to ensure clean and safe conditions
- Supporting the wider team with general maintenance needs as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar facilities' maintenance position
- White card
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent IT skills with experience using maintenance scheduling systems (desirable)
- Possession of a current C or C-A class driver's licence
What you'll get in return
