About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified registered Building Surveyor to join the Building Certification team based at North Ryde. 

The focus of your role will be carrying out assessments and issuing approvals along with undertaking inspections and reporting on a wide range of residential buildings, swimming pools as well as some commercial developments and related assets.  

You will be required to investigate building related complaints as principal certifier, respond to customer requests and manage any arising prosecutions. 

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced registered Building Surveyor with excellent technical knowledge of buildings of all classes and types. They will be self-motivated and be able to work autonomously.

In addition, you will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying or similar
  • Must hold registration with the NSW Department of Fair Trading as a Registered Building Surveyor.
  • A valid Australian driver’s licence
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to assess fire upgrade reports and alternative building performance solutions.

Your commencing annual salary will range from $100,571.00 p.a  + Superannuation + vehicle, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
