Position: Bulk Freight Business Development Manager
Location: Geelong.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bulk Freight Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Business Development within the Bulk Freight industry, with a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Bulk Freight sector, including but not limited to mining, agriculture, manufacturing, and construction industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored logistics solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative strategies to increase market share and revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing negotiations to prospective clients.
- Monitor industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Bulk Freight Business Development or sales, with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Deep understanding of Bulk Freight logistics operations, including transportation modes, warehousing, and distribution.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
