Our Client are seeking a motivated and organised Business Administration Officer to join their team. Working with one of our local councils located in Leichardt, you will play a vital role in driving the success of their business through effective administrative support, clerical and customer service to support managers.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited too:
- Completing purchase orders, invoices and paying bills
- Organizing meetings from start to finish including, invitations, venues, presentation aids and catering.
- Processing mail on a daily basis
- Assisting with preparation and distribution of citizen surveys
- General administrative support such as petty cash, processing reimbursements, maintenance of corporate systems/databases.
- Actioning and follow-up of enquiries, requests, and complaints
- Collaborative teamwork to ensure all group targets are met.
- Providing efficient reception service for internal and external visitors
The Successful Candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in providing business, administrative, clerical and customer service support in a technical environment.
- Previous experience using Tech One Software (desirable)
- sound knowledge in contemporary office management practices and business systems
- Ability to self-manage a varied workload, multitask
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Planning and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
