About the role
TAFE NSW is offering an exciting casual opportunity for individuals with current experience in Business Administration. As an Education Support Officer, you’ll be based at the Maitland Campus and/or Tomaree CLC, working face-to-face in the classroom. Your role involves assisting the teacher and students as needed.
Note: This role does not teach, prepare lessons, or undertake assessments.
About You
If you enjoy problem-solving and assisting others, this role is perfect for you. As part of a dynamic team, you’ll support students in completing tasks, understanding learning materials, and creating an innovative and exciting educational environment.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Hold a Certificate IV or above in Business Administration and a commitment to maintain technical currency.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and to provide quality customer service as part of a broader team.
