Candidates who can demonstrate that their skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications would enable them to successfully fulfill the position requirements may progress through the selection process.
The selection process may include steps such as a:
- preliminary telephone interview
- formal face-to-face interview
- presentation
- follow-up interview
- skills or other testing
- reference checking
- drug and alcohol screening
- medical and other checks deemed necessary for the position.
The selection panel will consider all the information gathered during the process in order to make a decision. The panel will endeavour to contact candidates selected for interview within three weeks of the advertisement closing date.
Referee checks may be done for shortlisted candidates, and our Human Resources team may ask you to attend a drug & alcohol screen or other medical checks.
Once the preferred candidate is confirmed, the unsuccessful interviewed candidates will be contacted directly to be advised of the outcome. Interviewees may be considered for other similar vacancies. Unsuccessful candidates who were not interviewed will be notified of the outcome via email at the conclusion of the process.
