What you'll be doing…
You will complete a Certificate III Business Administration qualification over 12 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with our Host Employer, Metal Shop Technics.
Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:
- Managing reception and front counter duties, creating a welcoming environment for our clients and visitors.
- Answering incoming calls with professionalism, ensuring they are transferred to the correct person or department.
- Liaising with customers to notify them when orders are ready for delivery or collection.
- Accurately managing worked hours for payroll purposes.
- Performing invoicing and data entry tasks.
- Organising delivery manifests and ensuring smooth coordination of deliveries.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:
- Proficient in Word and Excel, with the ability and eagerness to learn new software systems.
- The ability to work unsupervised and manage your tasks efficiently.
- We're looking for someone keen to interact with customers, understanding and attending to their needs with a positive attitude.
- The ability to work well in a small team, demonstrating flexibility and cooperation, is vital.
- Individuals who are keen to absorb new information, learn new skills, and grow with the company.
- P1 Driver's licence or above and own a reliable vehicle.
