About the Role
Overview

- Fortnightly supervision/mentoring tailored to support professional goals & development.
We are looking for a master multitasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to our organisation by providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, making reservations or travel arrangements, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
The successful candidate should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. The candidate must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication.
Communication
- Timely, polite and professional communication
- Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party
- Responding to and actioning emails on same day received
- Greet and assist visitors
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
- Ensure that positive and productive relationships exist between OpportunOTy, other providers, the local community, people worked with and families
Records Management
- Accurate setting up of clients within the client management system, scheduling software and other relevant programs
- Accurate management of record keeping systems (client management, scheduling) e.g. correct allocation of client to therapist, plan dates,
- Timely uploading of physical and electronic files
Office Maintenance
- Opening and closing office (security, cleanliness, tidiness)
- Implementation of environmental strategies (cardboard waste bin, Kate’s campaign for change)
Meetings
- Attend and participate in meetings, reviews and committees as required whilst seeking guidance and feedback from others for work performance.
