Our host employer is an industry leading company specialising in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality electrical safety products. Currently in Tingalpa but relocating to Cleveland by the end of 2024 which will be the permanent future location.
We are seeking a motivated Business Trainee to join a great team and contribute to their mission of promoting safety in the Electrical Industry. With excellent organisational skills and a desire to grow professionally, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and document management
- Reception duties including answering telephone enquiries, transferring calls and taking messages
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Provide support to the administrative team in coordinating meetings
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence by phone and email
- Support the sales team across all sales activities
- Assist with the processing of sales orders – review, interpret customer requirements, liaise with the sales/production team and enter orders
- Create supplier purchase orders
- Stationary and office supply ordering
- Liaise with various departments for efficient communication
- Assist with organising company events
- Handle ad-hoc administrative requests including running errands and collecting mail
To be considered for the role you must possess the following:
- Be eligible to complete a Certificate III in Business
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar or equivalent role
- Customer-focused and excellent administration skills
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, punctual, reliable and have a good attendance record
- The willingness to learn quickly and grow with the company
- Strong organisation and multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Great verbal and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- A current drivers licence is required to run company errands
- Be looking for a long term role
- Be an Australian resident or have permanent residency
